Surgery is done in a big building. It's called a hospital or a surgery center. When you get there, many things will happen.

You will wear a bracelet with your name on it.

A nurse or doctor will check your temperature.

You may be given a drink of medicine. It will make you feel sleepy. The next stop is the operating room. This is where the surgery is done!
